After years of living up to her reputation as a boy-crazy bad girl, Kristin Cavallari has traded bar-hopping for wedding planning. But fans of the MTV reality alum — who was once connected to Hollywood hunks Brody Jenner, Stephen Colletti and Nick Lachey — are dying to know: what was it about fiancé Jay Cutler that caused the former wild child to settle down?
“He comes from a good family and he’s very down-to-earth,” Kristin told In Touch of her Midwestern-bred football player beau at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Official KickOff Party presented by SKYY Vodka and Diesel in Miami on July 14.
The blond beauty, who has admitted to faking relationships for the cameras during her time on The Hills, swears this relationship is not just made-for-TV. “This is for real,” she added. “I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin with anybody else. He supports everything I do and is such a good encouragement for me. I couldn’t ask for a better man.”
Kristin and Jay, who got engaged while on a Mexico vacation in April, are rumored to be tying the knot in July 2012 in Jay’s native Chicago.
